YGA Director Dwayne McKinney coaching and training career spans 20 plus years. He is currently the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Stephenson High school in Stone Mountain GA. Prior to Stephenson, McKinney was the Head Coach at Southwest DeKalb High School in Decatur GA.    

Coach began his coaching career as Associate Head Coach for the Memphis YMOCA AAU program. Their teams produced some of the top talent in the country. During that time McKinney was also the President of McKinney Basketball Academy, which provided individual skill training for High School, college and professional players. Training such high level players has given Coach McKinney a wealth of knowledge in the area of skill development that will benefit players of all ages.
